Grain-free Pizza Crust

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Bob's Red Mill tapioca flour
  • 1 cup cassava flour
  • 2 T. coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 free-range, organic eggs room temperature
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/4 tsp. onion powder optional
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • pizza toppings of your choice

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400° F. Lightly dust a large pizza stone with cassava flour.
  • In a large mixing bowl, place the olive oil, sea salt, onion and garlic powder, and baking powder. Next add the tapioca flour, cassava flour, and coconut flour. Stir to combine.
  • Then add the eggs and warm water. Stir and knead with the spatula until the dough is shaped into a ball.
  • Press the dough into a circle on the pizza stone. Optional: Brush some additional olive oil over the crust. Top with your favorite pizza toppings.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes. The crust should be lightly browned on the bottom.

Notes

This pizza crust can easily be made in a buttered 9x13 glass baking dish instead of on a pizza stone.
