Ingredients

  • 2 quarts homemade chicken bone broth
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken pasture-raised, organic
  • 1 med. bulb garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp. parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme, chopped
  • 1 med. onion, organic
  • 3 large carrots, washed, organic
  • 2 lg. ribs celery, washed, organic
  • 4 oz. Banza spaghetti, dry weight
  • 1 lg. potato optional
  • sea salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a large crockpot or slow cooker, place the bone broth and cooked chicken.
  • Chop the carrots, onion, and celery into desired sizes. You can hand chop them or put them through a food processor for finely chopped veggies. Add the veggies to the crockpot.
  • Add the crushed garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine everything.
  • If you are adding a potatoe, wash the potato and dice it into desired size chunks. Add it to the soup.
  • Set the slow cooker or crockpot on high for 4 hours or on low for 6 hours.
  • About 10-20 minutes prior to serving the soup, add the Banza spaghetti to the soup. Let the soup simmer for 10-20 minutes.
  • Serve warm with a homemade baked good! Leftovers can be stored in the fridge or frozen.
