Place all of the ingredients in a large crockpot. I usually put the vinegar and meat in first. Then I add the honey, tomato paste, and chopped onion on top of the meat. The rest of the ingredients I just pile on top too.
Set the crockpot on high for 4 hours. After 4 hours, use two forks to shred the venison, this may take a few minutes to get all the meat fibers separated. You can also shred the meat in two different increments, doing a rough pull-apart shred first and then going back later to finish shredding the larger chunks.
Stir together the shredded meat and all the ingredients. Let the shredded meat cook for another 30 minutes, then serve!
