Ingredients

  • 8 cups homemade chicken broth
  • 2 cups shredded venison
  • 2 cups new crop navy beans
  • 1 bulb garlic
  • 2 cups organic homemade salsa
  • 1/2 tsp. organic cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp. organic chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • 1 small onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Daiya shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar) optional

Instructions

  • Pour the broth, venison, salsa, and navy beans into a crockpot.
  • Chop the onion and add it to the crockpot. Crush the garlic into the crockpot as well. Add the remaining seasonings.
  • Set the crockpot on high for at least 6-8 hours. The navy beans should expand. Once the beans have expanded and the chili is boiling, you can turn the crockpot down to low until you are ready to serve it!
  • You can serve the chili with Daiya cheese if you would like!
