The seedlings I started indoors got diseased and are way behind what they should be by now, so I'm hoping they will catch up once I get them in the ground.   • Make your own frosted animal cookie snack mix using the gluten-free animal cookie recipe that came out on the blog last week! To make a simple frosting for your animal cookies you just need two ingredients: ~ organic powdered cane sugar ~ dairy-free milk Start by putting the desired amount of powdered sugar (I usually start with 1/2 cup) in a glass mixing bowl. Then slowly add some dairy-free milk (about 1 teaspoon at a time) and whisk it in until a thick frosting/glaze forms. Spread the frosting on the animal cookies and allow the frosting to harden for 2 hours before making your snack mix! I wanted to keep all my Svart Hona hens laying so I didn't let any of them brood.
