Bob’s Red Mill Gluten-free Old Fashioned Rolled Oats: These old fashioned rolled oats work great in oatmeal cookie recipes, snack bar recipes, and granola. We enjoy working with these oats and love their taste and texture. It is hard to find gluten free oats, so we love that Bob’s Red Mill offers these oats which have been packaged in their 100% gluten free facility!
Nutiva Coconut Flour: Nutiva Coconut flour is finely ground from fresh coconuts that are harvested in Southeast Asia. We like to combine it with other grain-free flours to make delicious cookies, bars, pie crusts, buns, and other baked goods. It is a very absorbent flour which sometimes requires a little extra moisture.
Barlean’s Organic Virgin Coconut Oil: We love using this coconut oil in our dairy free recipes and for frying stir frys, eggs, and other stove-top meals. It is fair trade and certified organic along with being non-GMO. We love that Barlean’s sells their coconut oil in dark containers which helps preserve the quality of the oil!
Simple Truth Organic Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips: These chips fit perfectly in our monster cookies because they are slightly larger than the normal chocolate chip. They taste great and are certified organic. One concern that we have heard about them is that they may contain slight traces of milk, so people with a serious dairy allergy may want to avoid using them.
Simple Truth Organic Creamy Peanut Butter: With only peanuts and salt as the ingredients, we have found that this peanut butter is very creamy and tastes delicious! Remember to give it a stir though, as oil separation does occur!

It taste great made into an ice cream cake, sandwiched between cookies, or served in a big bowl! It is even organic and gluten free! This ice cream can be a little difficult to scoop out of the carton when it comes straight from the freezer, so we like to let it set out for a few minutes before serving!
365 Organic Butter (salted): We have found this to be one of the richest butters, with each stick being nice and yellow. It works great in our recipes, slapped on a stack of pancakes, or smoothed onto a bagel!

Arm & Hammer Baking Soda: We use Arm & Hammer baking soda in moderation in some of our recipes. It gives the baked good a nice lift and helps with rising. A lot of times we will combine it with cream of tarter to substitute for baking powder.
Xyla Xylitol: This xylitol is harvested from birch trees and is sugar free. It is perfect for diabetics and people looking to decrease their sugar intake. We find it to be a great substitute for granular sugar. It is also sweeter than other sugars so you can use less of it in a recipe. We often combine it with coconut sugar or maple syrup in our recipes.
Vetericyn Plus Wound and Skin Care: We absolutely love this product and use it for all of our animals cuts, wounds, or scraps. It is non-toxic and safe if ingested. It contains no alcohol, steroids, or antibiotics. We find that it helps the wound heal quickly and prevents infection.
Manna Pro Poultry Protector: This non-toxic, all natural spray helps keep away ticks, fleas, lice, and mites. We like to spray it on our birds once a month for parasite protection. We also use it in our coop to keep away bugs. After initially treating a bad case of lice with a chemical spray, we started using this as a preventive and have found that it works great.
Poultry Aid: We use this all natural spray on minor cuts and scraps on our chickens. It is safe for use on food producing animals and we have found that it helps minor cuts to heal up quickly and without infection. With more serious injuries we will often initially spray Vetericyn on the wound then follow up using the Poultry Aid.

They are easy to install and the chickens love using them! We have mounted them onto a PVC pipe for our chick’s water and into the bottom of a 3 gallon bucket for our adult birds!
Farm Innovators Heated Base: This heated base keeps the water in our plastic poultry waterers from freezing during the winter. It claims that it can keep the water unfrozen in temperatures down to 10 degree F. We have found that it works fine in much colder temperatures too! It is easy to operate and all we have to do is plug it into an outlet during cold nights to be sure our chickens have unfrozen water to drink!
