Another Day

This week our three roosters will be leaving. My favorite is a Partridge Rock rooster named Robin. Below are some pictures of this beautiful rooster.

Robin is a very calm rooster, though he likes chasing the older hens around the yard.

Lately Robin has taken to chasing down our oldest hen Billie. Alexa and I will catch Robin and hold him captive for some time as ''punishment''. Robin must like it because he still chases Billie. :)

This week I also made a delicious loaf of paleo bread. The reason it does not rise up is because I use coconut butter when the recipe calls for cashew butter, which I cant have, so… I improvise and it still turns out delicious. My sister loves it!

Deer season is right around the corner! I have been practicing with my bow nearly every day. I don’t hunt but it is still fun to practice!

Every arrow in the white! Well all the arrows I have left. The first I shot a vein off of and the other I shot into the metal fire pit and smashed the end of it.

Your bread does look delicious. Robin is beautiful but I was very happy to hear that Dinky was not leaving the flock. He is a truly beautiful creature!!! Love reading your blog.

    I’m assuming you’ll be making your own arrows…right? 🙂
I look forward to reading more….AND having a little taste of your paleo bread. (I’m allergic to cashews too).
